Tier 1 recycled 210 denier nylon double ripstop; nylon-spandex stretch woven; and high-void polyester mesh fabrics are environmentally friendly, with no loss of durability.
The paneled back with air-channel and space mesh is comfortable and quick drying. Foam padding in the shoulder straps provides maximum support and ventilation. Supports loads up to 25 lbs.
A large rear mesh "stuff-it" pocket and zippered pocket accommodates extra gear. Two side angled mesh pockets and bellowed pockets on the hip belt allow easy access to important items. Two side compression straps that attach from the side of the pack to the side of the waistbelt keep everything compact and tight.
Fit and functionality are very good. Padded and contoured shoulder straps combined with a wide waistbelt give a solid fit. The sternum strap has 5 inches of adjustability. The waistbelt has two stretch pockets that are large enough for energy bars, compasses, etc.
The main compartment is accessed by a zipper that runs around the top half of the pack. Inside the pack is a 3 liter hydration sleeve, hook for holding the hydration bladder, and tube port. On the rear of the pack are a tow loop/light clip, and X-cord compression system.
